Booking Rooms
Finally We have our conference room available to the Murdoch University staff to use for functions, meetings, conferences etc. SIR WALTER'S RESTAURANT can offer you a variety of catering options from small platters and coffee to formal sit down lunches.
Bookings can only be made via Email.
Conference room is bookable from Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, however if you require the room for longer, please make sure you speak to one of our friendly staff. We will do our best to accommodate you with your requirements.
To view availability for Conference room, simply click on the link in the left side bar. We have a calendar which will show you times that are available and times that have been booked. Underneath the calendar will be a basic booking form. Complete and submit the form. We will then book in your function and send a confirmation email ASAP.

SIR WALTER'S RESTAURANT Catering Terms and Conditions
Recently we have experienced a few cases where numbers of guests have been reduced on the day of the function and the choice of menu altered with less than 24 hours’ notice. This has meant we have had to re-evaluate our terms. Therefore, please note our new conditions.
Confirmation of Numbers
Numbers attending must be confirmed 48 hours (2 working days) prior to the function. This is to ensure that we can meet the needs and expectations of our clients. If the number of guests attending is decreased with less than 24 hours notice, the full price of the quote will be charged.
Change of Menu
Changes to the chosen menu must be confirmed 72 hours (3 working days) before the day of the function.
Conference Room Bookings
We charge a fee of $40 per hour for the Conference Room - This is to cover email correspondence, cleaning costs, and the provision of water and glasses. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $40 cancelation fee if you do not honour your booking.
